The Flying Crane Katana is oriental longevity themed full-size samurai sword, fully differentiated from snapdragon dragon blade, sun moon yin-yang katana, pink begonia mini wakizashi and dark vintage compact swords. Taking red-crowned flying crane and pine tree as core auspicious elements, this sword adopts unified crane bronze hardware matched hand-drawn pine landscape black scabbard, targeted at traditional culture collectors, quiet tea room decor and blessing art gifts for elders.
The blade is forged from solid T10 high carbon steel with traditional tsuchioki clay differential temper, forming neat choji clove continuous wave hamon line. Blade shape is standard shinogi-zukuri without blood groove, with clear embossed yokote line and classic notarekomi kissaki tip, processed by multi-stage fine mirror polishing and factory light sharp edge. The delicate temper grain is easy to scratch; only slow static drawing display is allowed, heavy cutting and violent friction are strictly prohibited.
The full set mounting fittings are vintage bronze alloy with 3D flying crane relief carving, including flower outline hollow dual-sided crane tsuba, pine patterned fuchi & kashira, mini crane menuki ornaments and solid raw copper habaki/seppa washers. The oval imogata handle uses genuine black dotted ray skin inner lining wrapped with thick black moro-hineri cotton ito. The scabbard is solid hardwood coated high-gloss black lacquer, printed hand-drawn white pine tree landscape pattern, matched blue-gold mixed tassel sage cord.
