Product Introduction
The Berserk Katana is premium full-size samurai sword themed with traditional pomegranate maki-e hand painting art, fully differentiated from fish printed wakizashi, PU leather wrapped, plain shirasaya and animal relief sword series. Taking pomegranate as core decorative element which symbolizes prosperity and abundance in oriental culture, this full-length blade targets high-end nihonto collectors, study luxury display and upscale cultural art gifts.
The blade adopts premium T10 high carbon steel with traditional Tsuchioki clay differential tempering craft, forming neat choji clove wave hamon temper line, standard shinogi-zukuri blade shape without blood groove, clear yokote mark, classic kissaki tip, multi-stage taganeha mirror polishing and factory light sharp edge. This blade is only designed for slow static drawing appreciation; heavy cutting and violent friction will damage delicate temper grain and are strictly prohibited.
The complete mounting set is polished golden brass alloy hardware with hollow floral carved tsuba, wave patterned fuchi & kashira, small fruit menuki ornaments and solid copper habaki/seppa washers. The oval imogata grip uses natural ray skin inner lining wrapped with thick black cotton moro-hineri ito. The scabbard is solid hardwood with high-gloss black base lacquer mixed golden speckle texture, hand-painted vivid pomegranate flower and fruit maki-e artwork, matched multi-color braided thick cotton sage cord. Equipped with dual bamboo mekugi pegs to form fully removable full tang for convenient regular blade anti-rust maintenance.
