Product Introduction
The Gold and Sand Katana is affordable entry-level training samurai sword priced at $339.99, created for absolute beginners, daily iaido form practice and minimalist desktop decoration. The blade uses T10 high carbon steel with traditional Tsuchi clay tempering, maru mono solid blade without blood groove, standard shinogizukuri profile, no decorative yokote, full flat polishing and factory sharpened edge for light form practice only. This sword adopts fully disassemblable full tang construction fixed by two bamboo mekugi pegs, easy to separate for regular blade anti-rust oil maintenance.
The whole set of fittings is uncarved solid copper, covering tsuba, fuchi, kashira, menuki, seppa and habaki. The oval imogata tsuka uses genuine ray skin inner layer wrapped with classic moro-hineri cotton silk ito to provide stable anti-slip grip during long practice. The scabbard is solid hardwood with matte paint finish, matched simple cotton sageo cord. A free katana storage bag is included as gift accessory; customers can pay extra $30 to customize unique blade patterns and text.
