Product Introduction
The Koden Big Sori Tachi is a historical high-curvature traditional waist-worn samurai tachi priced at $569.99, crafted for nihonto collectors, historical display and cultural gift collection. Different from ordinary uchigatana katana, this tachi features extra large 3.1cm blade sori, follows ancient tachi wearing style with complete copper waist hanging hardware including ashikanamono, taikogane, kawasakikanamono fittings. The blade adopts multi-layer folding forging steel, processed via Tsuchioki traditional clay temper to form regular gunome wave hamon, with real hand-forged yokote, no blood groove maru solid blade, full fine hand polishing and factory sharpened edge.
The tsuka is wrapped with classic cotton moro wrap lined with genuine natural ray skin, matched full set solid copper mountings: tsuba, fuchi, kashira, menuki, habaki, seppa and exclusive tachi waist copper accessories. The scabbard is made of solid hardwood, equipped copper koiguchi, ishizukikanamono, semekanamono and leaf-shaped kashiwaba metal ornaments, paired thick cotton tachino waist cord. This tachi adopts non-removable integrated full tang fixed by two bamboo mekugi pegs, stable structure for long-term static collection.
