Ink Scar Katana – Oil Quenched Damascus Blade Carved Wood Saya
Product Introduction
The Ink Scar Katana is entry-level dark ink pattern decorative samurai sword, positioned separately from high-end floral, beast, military and long tachi series. Designed for beginner collectors, office minimalist display and entry oriental art gifts. The blade adopts multi-layer maru-gitae damascus steel with oil quenching heat treatment, plain shinogi-zukuri shape without blood groove, standard polishing and light factory edge, only suitable for static display and slow drawing practice, heavy cutting work is not recommended.
The full set of fittings are uniform carved alloy hardware, including tsuba, fuchi, kashira and small alloy menuki ornaments. The imogata shaped grip uses imitation ray skin lining wrapped with moro-hineri cotton weave. Scabbard is solid hardwood with full body dark ink scar carving craft, matched thick coarse cotton sage binding cord. This katana uses two bamboo peg fixed non-detachable full tang, stable for long-term static storage. A lightweight katana storage bag is provided as free gift; exclusive blade carving upgrade service is available on request.
